If there is any conflict between this Agreement and the General Terms, the General Terms will control and govern. Company reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Continued access or use of Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

1. Hiring Services

The following are included when you purchase Company's hiring services:

  • Candidate Vetting: Company will identify and present two top candidates (ranked based upon alignment with job description) for your position within approximately 4–6 weeks of your approval of the job description. Company will engage in diligence, such as screening interviews, before presenting candidates to Client for interviews. Please note that hiring timelines are estimates only: timelines may vary depending on market conditions, candidate availability, and/or other forces beyond Company's control. Company will communicate material delays as they arise.
  • Concierge Interview Scheduling: Interview coordination by Company on behalf of Client. Client will conduct interviews with candidate(s).
  • Concierge Reference Call Scheduling: Company will schedule and coordinate reference calls for the top two candidates. If requested, Company can conduct the reference calls on your behalf.
  • Background Check: Company engages a third party to conduct an extensive background check on the selected candidate(s). The background check is generally conducted post-offer as a condition of employment. Please note that only one background check is included with the fees you pay for Company's hiring services; any additional background checks will incur additional expenses that you will be responsible for, and Company may require you to pay for such additional background checks and related services in advance. Additional details regarding these background checks are available upon request.
  • Templates Provided: Recommended interview questions, reference call questions, and an employment agreement template will be provided.
  • Onboarding Call: A 30-minute call to assist with the onboarding process.
  • Home Systems: Digital course and playbook for onboarding and managing your staff.

  • Ongoing (e.g., weekly, monthly) support to your staff;
  • Payroll management; and
  • Home Systems setup and implementation.

3. Consulting Services

Consulting services are provided on an as-requested basis at Company's then-current rates, which Company may update at any time without notice.

5. Pricing and Payment Terms

  • Pricing: Prices are as displayed on the Company's https://sagehaus.com/ website and/or otherwise communicated to Client at the time of purchase. Company reserves the right to update its pricing at any time without notice. Company also reserves the right to correct any pricing errors that may occur, even if that means cancelling your order.
  • Payment: Hiring Services typically require 50% upfront payment, with the remaining 50% due when you extend a job offer to a candidate*. Other Company Services require 100% upfront payment (e.g., educational materials and digital products), or periodic payments (e.g., managed services, consulting services). Payment terms will generally be communicated at the time of purchase, or in supplemental terms accompanying the Services. Unless stated otherwise in a written agreement signed or endorsed by Company, all fees are due in advance. *See Sections 6 and 7, below, regarding payment if additional candidates are requested or you decide not to proceed with a job offer after candidates are presented.
  • No Refunds: Except as stated otherwise in this Agreement, all fees are noncancellable and nonrefundable.

6. Client Responsibilities for Hiring Services

  • Final Hiring Decision: Company provides vetted candidates, but the final hiring decision is solely Client’s responsibility. Company does not guarantee placement or employment.
  • Timely Communication: You agree to provide timely and meaningful feedback and communication during the hiring process to ensure an efficient and collaborative experience. Specifically, Company requests a response to any hiring-related inquiry within 24 hours to reduce the risk of losing candidates or hiring momentum. Company is not responsible for any delays you cause, or the loss of any candidates arising out of such delays. If you take longer than 24 hours to respond, or if you fail to respond completely to Company's inquiries, Company reserves the right to continue the process using its discretion or pause the engagement until timely and complete communication resumes. A lapse in communication exceeding seven consecutive days without written notice may result in termination of the engagement without refund. Because extended lapses often result in the loss of active candidates, resuming the search may constitute a Scope Change (as defined below) and require additional service fees.
  • Scope Changes Before Candidate Presentation: If your hiring needs materially change after you approve the job description but before Company presents candidates, Company will assess whether those changes fall outside the original scope of Services. Examples of material changes include, without limitation, significant shifts in required qualifications, working hours, responsibilities, compensation, or location. In such cases: The Company will determine whether the updated scope can still be fulfilled under the existing Agreement, If the changes require additional recruiting, onboarding support, or extended search efforts (each a “Scope Change”), the Company may propose a revised scope of work, timeline, and corresponding service fee adjustments. You must pay any fee adjustments to continue the engagement; If the Scope Change occurs before candidate presentation and is such that Company reasonably believes it can no longer deliver qualified candidates under the revised requirements, either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice. In such event, any fees already paid are nonrefundable, but no further payments for that particular hiring engagement will be owed unless the parties enter into a new Agreement; For the avoidance of doubt, Client's rejection of four or more candidates presented to them by Company will constitute a Scope Change subject to a service fee adjustment, in addition to Client owing all remaining fees to Company (e.g., the remaining 50%) as set forth in Section 7.
  • Scope Change After Candidate Presentation: If (a) a Scope Change occurs after Company has presented any candidates to Client or (b) Client decides not to proceed with a job offer after any candidates are presented, Client must immediately pay all remaining fees (e.g., the remaining 50%) and Company may condition any further performance on payment of all such fees.

7. Additional Candidates

With regard to hiring services only, if you are not happy with the original two candidates presented by Company, Company will provide two additional candidates at no additional charge; provided that (a) no Scope Change has occurred and (b) Client promptly makes itself available for a meeting with Company to understand why the original candidates were not acceptable. Subject to the foregoing, if you request that Company provide two additional candidates at no additional cost, your request will trigger your obligation to immediately pay all remaining fees (e.g., the remaining 50%) and Company may condition any further performance, including without limitation presentation of additional candidates, on payment of all such fees. All remaining fees will also be due immediately if you decide not to proceed with a job offer after Company presents any candidates. Your failure to issue a job offer within 45 days of candidate presentation will be deemed your decision to not proceed with a job offer, triggering your obligation to pay all remaining fees. You agree to provide Company with such information as it may reasonably request to determine whether job offers have been extended.

8. 60-Day Hiring Services Guarantee

With regard to hiring services only, if the candidate you hire separates from the role within 60 days of their start date (as recorded in the agreement between you and the candidate), Company offers a one-time courtesy re-match to source up to two new candidates at no additional service fee. One background check is included as part of your engagement with Company. If you initiate the 60-day guarantee, the cost of any additional background checks will be your responsibility. If your candidate leaves within 61-180 days of their start date, we will treat the replacement process similar to a Scope Change with a custom fee proposal for services going forward. For the avoidance of doubt, the 60-day guarantee does not provide a refund of service fees – only a commitment to attempt another candidate match.

9. Cancellation

You may terminate this Agreement for any (or no) reason with 30 days' prior written notice; provided that termination will not affect your obligations that have accrued before termination. Please also keep in mind that termination of this Agreement will not terminate your relationship with any staff you hired under this Agreement, and that you are responsible for ensuring any termination of your staff complies with applicable law and any agreement(s) you have in place with them. Company may immediately terminate this Agreement at any time and for any (or no) reason by providing you with notice. If Company exercises this termination right, you will still be responsible for paying Company for all services it performed.
