I help busy moms find relief from the mental load through home systems and household support.

What started with hiring my first house manager in 2021—at a time when everything felt like too much—turned into a platform to share the same tools, strategies, and support that changed my life. Today, Sage Haus helps families build their village, reclaim their time, and run their households with more ease and intention.

hi, I'm Kelly!

You deserve to feel present—not just productive.

I started Sage Haus because I was tired of watching capable, brilliant women burn out trying to “do it all.”

As a mom of three, I know the mental load is real—and relentless. That’s why I help parents delegate with confidence, hire the right support, and build home systems that give them their time (and sanity) back.

One year after we had our second child, I was on the verge of a mental, physical, and emotional breakdown. There simply weren’t enough hours in the day to manage our household. The mental load was enormous. I couldn’t keep up. My marriage was on the rocks. And living far from family, I didn’t have a built-in support system to lean on—or a clue where to start. People say, “it takes a village,” but where was mine? I needed help.

Does any of this feel familiar?

I can relate...

After logging the time I spent running our household, I realized I was spending nearly 20 hours a week on top of my full-time job. That’s a part-time job worth of invisible work. And I’m not the only one.

Most women are handling the lion’s share of household labor—and it’s costing us time, energy, and our well-being.

  • U.S. women spend an average of 22.5 hours per week on unpaid household and caregiving tasks—on top of full-time work or child-rearing.

  • Even in dual-career households, women still take on 65% of household labor and 70% of the mental load (like remembering appointments, restocking, and planning meals).

  • 85% of moms say they feel like the default parent.

And perhaps the most eye-opening?

Most of these tasks could be done by someone other than you.

I am not a superhuman...

The system isn’t broken—it was never built to support us in the first place.

We can rebuild it. And it starts at home.

After finally admitting that I couldn’t—and didn’t want to—do it all, I took a hard look at what I really needed and what I could let go of. I didn’t need to be supermom. I needed real support.

I hired a versatile house manager who became the steady, second set of hands our family needed. She handled everything from grocery shopping and laundry to date night babysitting—true holistic care for our household.

But hiring the right person was only part of the solution. I also had to learn the art of delegation and build home systems that made her support truly effective. Because help only works when there’s clarity, structure, and a plan for what to hand off.

Now, I’ve dedicated my career to sharing everything I’ve learned—so other families can reclaim their time, lighten the mental load, and finally get the support they deserve.

My solution

Let me guess? Your calendar’s overflowing, the fridge is empty (again), and your to-do list reads like a full-time job—because it is. You’re the project manager, personal chef, laundry coordinator, and emotional glue holding it all together.

But deep down, you also know you're ready for something more.
  • More time to focus on what matters most
  • More presence with your kids (and your partner)
  • More space to breathe, rest, and maybe even dream again

You just need a plan—and the right person to help you carry it out.

Here’s what I want you to hear:
You don’t have to earn rest by doing it all first.
You don’t need to wait for burnout to make a change.
You deserve a support system that actually supports you—one built on home systems and the right kind of help.

When you’re ready, Sage Haus is here to help you build it.
