Last Updated: December 8, 2025These Terms & Conditions for Sage Haus Courses (the "Agreement") set forth the terms and conditions between Sage Haus, Inc. (the "Company") and you ("you" or "your") regarding your access and use of the Company house-manager certification course, together with any courses Company may offer in the future, and related educational materials (collectively, the "Course"). By enrolling in or accessing the Course, you acknowledge and agree to this Agreement, together with Company's General Terms & Conditions (the “General Terms”). If there is any conflict between this Agreement and the General Terms, the General Terms will control and govern. Company reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Continued access or use of the Course, or any Course certifications, after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
1. Nature of Course & Educational Content
- Educational Training Program: The Course is an educational training program designed to provide knowledge and skills related to household management and domestic service roles. The Course content is based on the Company's proprietary methodologies, best practices, and industry insights developed through working with hundreds of families and household professionals.
- Recertification Requirement: The Company may require you to recertify periodically, such as every two years. You acknowledge and agree that recertification may require you to complete the Course again, and pay all related fees.
- Non-Accredited Program: The Company is NOT an accredited educational institution, and the certification provided upon completion of the Course is NOT an official, government-recognized, or industry-standard accreditation. The certification represents completion of the Company's proprietary training program only.
- Content Basis: All Course materials, methodologies, and curriculum are developed from the Company's practical experience and industry observations. The content represents the Company's professional opinions and recommended practices at the time the content was created, not universally accepted standards or requirements. Company does not guarantee that Course materials are accurate, up to date, or will be available at all times.
2. No Employment or Opportunity Guarantees
No Employment Guarantee: The Company makes NO guarantees, promises, or representations that completing the Course will result in:
- Job placement or employment opportunities
- Interviews with potential employers
- Increased earning potential
- Career advancement
- Specific employment outcomes of any kind
No Connection Facilitation: Completion of the certification does NOT include job placement services, employer introductions, or assistance in finding employment opportunities.
Market Conditions: Employment opportunities in household management depend on numerous factors beyond the Company's control, including local market conditions, economic factors, individual qualifications, experience, references, and employer preferences.
3. Course Access & Participation- Digital Access: The Course is delivered through digital platforms and materials. You are responsible for having appropriate technology, internet connectivity, and technical skills to access and complete the Course content.
- Personal Use Only: Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive license to access and complete the Course for your individual use only. You may not share, distribute, reproduce, or resell Course materials.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
4. Course Completion & Certification- Completion Requirements: To receive certification, you must complete all required Course modules and assessments as determined by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion. The Company reserves the right to modify completion requirements at any time without notice.
- Certification Value: Certification represents completion of our proprietary training program and demonstrates familiarity with our recommended practices and methodologies. It does not represent mastery of all skills or guarantee competency in household management roles.
- Verification: The Company may verify completion of the Course but is under no obligation to provide employment references, recommendations, or professional endorsements based solely on Course completion.
- Expiration of Certification: If one of your Company certifications expires, you agree to either (a) successfully recertify as required by Company or (b) cease any representation that you hold the expired certification.
5. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee- Refund Period: If you are unsatisfied with the Course content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial enrollment date.
- Refund Process: To request a refund, you must contact Company in writing at hello@sagehaus.com within the 14-day period. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.
- Refund Limitations: The satisfaction guarantee applies only to the initial purchase. If you violate any terms of this Agreement, you forfeit your right to a refund. Partial refunds are not available for partially completed courses.
6. Intellectual Property & Restrictions
Proprietary Content: All Course materials, including but not limited to text, videos, audio, graphics, templates, assessments, and methodologies, are the exclusive property of the Company and protected by intellectual property laws.
Usage Restrictions: You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Course materials
- Create derivative works based on Course content
- Use Course materials for commercial purposes (other than in the ordinary course of your business as general knowledge gained from the Course)
- Share login credentials or allow others to access your account
- Record, screenshot, or capture Course content in any form
Professional Use: You may refer to yourself as "Sage Haus Certified" (and use other logos or marks approved by Company from time to time to indicate certification) while you have a current Sage Haus certification. If any Company certifications expire and you do not recertify, you may apply knowledge gained from the Course in your professional activities, but you must cease any representation that you hold the expired certification, including without limitation ceasing to use of any certification-specific badge, logo, or mark.
7. User Conduct & Responsibilities- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during enrollment and participation.
- Professional Behavior: You agree to maintain professional conduct during any interactive components of the Course and respect other participants and instructors.
- Legal Compliance: You agree to use the Course in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations- Educational Purpose Only: The Course is provided for educational purposes only. The Company makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of the Course content for any particular purpose. Further, the Company is not responsible for how you apply or fail to apply the knowledge gained from the Course.
- No Professional Advice: The Course content does not constitute professional, legal, tax, or career advice, and you agree not to rely upon it for any such purpose. You should consult qualified professionals for specific guidance related to your situation.
- Individual Results: Results from completing the Course will vary based on individual circumstances, effort, prior experience, local market conditions, and other factors beyond the Company's control.
9. Course Modifications & Termination- Content Updates: The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue Course content at any time without prior notice. Access to updated content may require additional fees.
- Account Termination: The Company may terminate your access to the Course at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at the Company's sole discretion.
- Service Discontinuation: The Company may discontinue the Course program entirely at any time. In such cases, enrolled participants will retain access to existing materials for a reasonable transition period.
10. Privacy & Data- Information Collection: The Company collects and uses your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which governs data collection, use, and protection practices.
- Course Analytics: The Company may track your progress, completion rates, and engagement with Course materials for educational improvement and business purposes.
