Terms & Conditions for House Manager CertificationThis agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions between Sage Haus, LLC, an Oregon limited liability company (the "Company") and participants ("you") regarding the Sage Haus certification course and related educational materials (the "Course"). By enrolling in or accessing the Course, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Nature of Course & Educational Content- Educational Training Program: The Sage Haus certification course is an educational training program designed to provide knowledge and skills related to household management and domestic service roles. The Course content is based on the Company's proprietary methodologies, best practices, and industry insights developed through working with hundreds of families and household professionals.
- Non-Accredited Program: The Company is NOT an accredited educational institution, and the certification provided upon completion of the Course is NOT an official, government-recognized, or industry-standard accreditation. The certification represents completion of the Company's proprietary training program only.
- Content Basis: All Course materials, methodologies, and curriculum are developed from the Company's practical experience and industry observations. The content represents the Company's professional opinions and recommended practices, not universally accepted standards or requirements.
2. No Employment or Opportunity GuaranteesNo Employment Guarantee: The Company makes NO guarantees, promises, or representations that completing the Course will result in:
- Job placement or employment opportunities
- Interviews with potential employers
- Increased earning potential
- Career advancement
- Specific employment outcomes of any kind
No Connection Facilitation: Completion of the certification does NOT include job placement services, employer introductions, or assistance in finding employment opportunities.
Market Conditions: Employment opportunities in household management depend on numerous factors beyond the Company's control, including local market conditions, economic factors, individual qualifications, experience, references, and employer preferences.
3. Course Access & Participation- Digital Access: The Course is delivered through digital platforms and materials. You are responsible for having appropriate technology, internet connectivity, and technical skills to access and complete the Course content.
- Personal Use Only: Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and complete the Course for your individual use only. You may not share, distribute, reproduce, or resell Course materials.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
4. Course Completion & Certification- Completion Requirements: To receive certification, you must complete all required Course modules and assessments as determined by the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify completion requirements at any time.
- Certification Value: The Sage Haus certification represents completion of our proprietary training program and demonstrates familiarity with our recommended practices and methodologies. It does not represent mastery of all skills or guarantee competency in household management roles.
- Verification: The Company may verify completion of the Course but is under no obligation to provide employment references, recommendations, or professional endorsements based solely on Course completion.
5. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee- Refund Period: If you are unsatisfied with the Course content, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of your initial enrollment date.
- Refund Process: To request a refund, you must contact the Company in writing at hello@sagehaus.com within the 14-day period. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.
- Refund Limitations: The satisfaction guarantee applies only to the initial purchase. If you violate any terms of this Agreement, you forfeit your right to a refund. Partial refunds are not available for partially completed courses.
6. Intellectual Property & RestrictionsProprietary Content: All Course materials, including but not limited to text, videos, audio, graphics, templates, assessments, and methodologies, are the exclusive property of the Company and protected by intellectual property laws.
Usage Restrictions: You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Course materials
- Create derivative works based on Course content
- Use Course materials for commercial purposes
- Share login credentials or allow others to access your account
- Record, screenshot, or capture Course content in any form
Professional Use: While you may apply knowledge gained from the Course in your professional activities, you may not represent yourself as affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any official organization other than Sage Haus, LLC.
7. User Conduct & Responsibilities- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during enrollment and participation.
- Professional Behavior: You agree to maintain professional conduct during any interactive components of the Course and respect other participants and instructors.
- Legal Compliance: You agree to use the Course in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations- Educational Purpose Only: The Course is provided for educational purposes only. The Company makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of the Course content for any particular purpose.
- No Professional Advice: The Course content does not constitute professional, legal, tax, or career advice. You should consult qualified professionals for specific guidance related to your situation.
- Individual Results: Results from completing the Course will vary based on individual circumstances, effort, prior experience, local market conditions, and other factors beyond the Company's control.
9. Limitation of Liability- Maximum Liability: The Company's total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Course shall not exceed the amount you paid for Course enrollment.
- No Consequential Damages: The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost opportunities, or career-related damages.
- Educational Service: The Company provides educational content only and is not responsible for how you apply or fail to apply the knowledge gained from the Course.
10. Course Modifications & Termination
- Content Updates: The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue Course content at any time without prior notice. Access to updated content may require additional fees.
- Account Termination: The Company may terminate your access to the Course at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at the Company's sole discretion.
- Service Discontinuation: The Company may discontinue the Course program entirely at any time. In such cases, enrolled participants will retain access to existing materials for a reasonable transition period.
11. Privacy & Data
- Information Collection: The Company collects and uses your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which governs data collection, use, and protection practices.
- Course Analytics: The Company may track your progress, completion rates, and engagement with Course materials for educational improvement and business purposes.
12. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the complete understanding between you and the Company regarding the Course and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
- Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in Oregon.
- Modification Rights: The Company reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued access to or use of the Course after modifications indicates acceptance of revised terms.
- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- No Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under this Agreement without the Company's prior written consent.
