Terms & Conditions for Candidates

These Terms & Conditions for Candidates (the "Agreement") set forth the terms and conditions between Sage Haus, Inc. (the "Company") and job-placement candidates ("you" or "your") regarding your access and use of the Company's goods and services, including without limitation Company's hiring services (the "Services"). By providing any information to Company to be considered as a candidate, or otherwise accessing or using any of the Company's Services, you agree to this Agreement, together with Company's General Terms & Conditions (the "General Terms"). If there is any conflict between this Agreement and the General Terms, the General Terms will control and govern. Company reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Your continued access or use of Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

1. Nature of Services & Relationship

Independent Recruiting Agency: Company is an independent recruiting agency that connects qualified candidates with households seeking staff positions. The Company is NOT an employer, employment agency, or staffing company.

No Employment Relationship: No employment or independent-contractor relationship exists between you and Company. Any employment or independent-contractor relationship that may result from our Services will be solely between you and the hiring household (the "Client").

Services Provided to You:
- Job matching and candidate presentation to Client
- Interview coordination and scheduling
- Background check facilitation
- Access to optional certification, training, and/or digital courses (additional terms and fees may apply)

2. Candidate Responsibilities & Conduct

Required Materials: You agree to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information, including:
- Current resume and cover letter
- Professional references with current contact information
- Consent for background check processing
- Any other materials reasonably requested during the hiring process

Professional Conduct: While participating in our hiring process, you agree to:
- Maintain professional communication with Company and Client
- Be punctual and prepared for all scheduled interviews and calls
- Treat all parties with respect and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality regarding Client information and household details
- Communicate promptly if you wish to withdraw from consideration or decline an offer

Truthful Representation: You warrant that all information provided is true, complete, up-to-date, and accurate, and agree to immediately update the information as needed for it to remain true, complete, up-to-date, and accurate. Any misrepresentation or material omission may result in immediate removal from our candidate pool.

3. Background Checks & Privacy

Consent to Background Checks: By accessing or using our hiring Services, you consent to background checks conducted through our third-party screening provider. Upon request, Company can provide additional information regarding its background checks.

No Long-Term Data Storage: Company retains only information necessary for the hiring process and complies with applicable privacy laws.

4. No Guarantees & Candidate Withdrawal

No Placement Guarantee: Company makes no guarantees regarding job placement, employment offers, or hiring decisions. All hiring decisions are made solely by Client.

Right to Withdraw: You may withdraw from consideration for any position at any time. We ask that you communicate your decision as soon as possible to avoid disruption to the process.

Company Discretion: Company reserves the right to remove candidates from consideration at any time for any reason, including but not limited to unprofessional conduct, misrepresentation, or failure to meet Client requirements.

5. Post-Placement Independence

No Ongoing Relationship: Once you are hired by a Client, your relationship with Company ends unless Client and Company agree to an ongoing managed-service relationship. Unless Client and Company otherwise agree, Company will have no role in managing, supervising, or mediating your employment.

Post-Placement Disputes: All post-placement disputes, grievances, or issues are solely between you and Client, and must therefore be addressed directly with Client. Company will not participate in or mediate such disputes.

Workers' Rights: Any concerns about wages, working conditions, discrimination, or other similar matters are solely between you and Client, and must therefore be directed to Client and/or any appropriate government agencies.

6. No Fees Due from Candidates

Cost-Free Services: Unless stated otherwise on the Company website, Company does not charge candidates any fees for hiring services; all hiring-service fees are typically paid by Client.

Optional Training: Company certification, training, and/or digital courses are optional and may be subject to additional terms and fees.

7. Employment Status; Company Authority

Employee v. Independent Contractor Status: Company makes no representations about, and has no responsibility regarding, your employment classification, tax obligations, or benefit eligibility.

No Agency Authority: Company has no authority to make hiring decisions or other commitments on behalf of Client. You agree to not rely on Company for such decisions.
